This past December, something really hit me when it came to my relationship with Jesus.. He turned my whole life around; and suddenly I just wanted more and more of him everyday.
A while back, I used to think it was all about singing the songs, and lifting your hands for a little bit and just kinda singing along.. listening to the notes in the guitar solo thinking wow i should learn that one! and you know the music starts getting softer and on occasion the lead vocalist lets the audience sing a part alone and you’re like “okay it’s my turn” and I used to think that was your time. I used to think “okay shelby, you gotta sing for Jesus because he’s here in church right now and well he’s listening so make it good”
Boy was I wrong, worshiping Jesus is so much more than that. It’s not about the songs or talent or instruments. It’s about your relationship with him. It’s spending time with him and just letting him wrap his arms around you and taking the time to focus on him and think about how much he really does love you. Its incredible. it amazes me how enormous his love is for each and every one of us. And sometimes I feel like when I post about Gods love for us, my writing is so repetitive.. And you might feel the same way but there’s nothing that excites me more than to think about the never ending love of Jesus.
Today, just about 15 minutes ago actually I was sitting on my bed listening to worship songs. And I took the time and I opened my heart up to Jesus And asked him over and over and over to fill me up with his love. It amazes me.. All it takes is one encounter with Jesus, and even if you only get a taste of his love in that encounter; you can not help but to just fall in love with him.. And you can not help wanting to just spend hours and hours focusing on his love and his grace and his mercy. You just can’t.
And a glimpse of his love is all it takes.

One of the hardest things for the human heart to do is accepting someone else really loving you for who you are and accepting you for who you are. To me, the most incredible thing about God’s love is that He really loves me for who I am. There aren’t any conditions for His love saying, “If you do this I’ll love you,” but instead He loves you with an incredible love that just reaches into your heart. People always have some angle of pleasing somebody or some catch to a relationship, but not God. He loves me innocently, massively. There are seven plus billion people in this whole wide world, and He loves you as if you were the only one. Theres nothing more incredible to me than Gods love, for each and every one of us.

It’s all about His love; it’s all about His incredible capacity to wrap His arms around us, no strings attached. This life we live is so beautiful because of him, and yet we always take it for granted..
As you’re reading this remember what he did for you.. Remember how
Jesus died to save your soul. You are not just a statistic, just one of billions of people. You are unique and made by God. He is not willing that you should perish. He sent his Son to save your soul..
Gods love is so Big. SO BIG. I can’t stress that enough. It overpowers everything and anything. It’s enormous. It’s outrageous. It’s everything. Gods love is so amazing; and the fact that he loves each and every one of us Neither less nor more gets me so excited and so happy. Just take the time today to think about His love. And everything he’s done for us. Take time today to talk to him, to praise him. He gives us so much when we really don’t deserve anything. Because he loves us.

Even though He is God of the universe,
Maker of heaven and earth, Lion and the Lamb, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End! He wants us! He wants us with ALL of our faults. You see, and this is just my opinion and you may disagree on this completely, I don’t really care. God is here..he’s there with you he’s here with me. He’s Sitting on my bed looking at me and thinking: “Wow, check out her heart. I really wish that she would see herself the way I see her.” and guess what? he thinks the same thing about all of you too!! And this took me so long to realise… and even as I am typing this, I have moments of doubt and then God comes in and just reassures me that He really loves me. Not just a tiny bit but, He really LOVES me. He loves us so much..with all His heart. So really, What more can we ask for? If the maker of this entire universe adores us.

why did you send this anonymously? I would really like to know who you are…So that if I ever did anything to you, you would at least have a reason to be so mean. 

Honestly, what do you get out of calling me stupid? what do you get out of saying that I’m not pretty? And who are you to judge my personality? 

People that say things  like this, say them to bring others down to make themselves feel better. I bet the most you got out of saying this to me was a laugh… It doesn’t  make you look cool. There is no point in being so mean.

If you have something against me, whatever it is, I am extremely sorry… it must be something really bad since you just wished death on me.
